After leaving True Roots in 2018, I made my way to a beautiful ret...reat centre in California and then spent some time travelling through Latin America. It was such a joy to explore the beauty that our world has to offer. You may be wondering what happened to my long hair? Well, recently, my mom was diagnosed with cancer. She's much better now - however, she lost all her beautiful hair by undergoing months of chemotherapy treatment. Seeing her transformation made me question my own beauty, and what it would be like to have no hair?! So, one morning, I had the inspiration and shaved it all off!!! It's been a journey for me, my family and honestly...the entire world. I'm taking it all on with this new sense of love, purpose and a brand new haircut. We have some good news to share! Welcome Baby Bowen to the world! Our Patient Care Coordinator, Justine, had her baby on June 6th, weighing in at a 7.2 lbs. We are thrilled to report that both mama and baby are doing well. Our hearts are full at a time when being apart is so difficult.
