I’ve been living for a life I don’t have. I didn’t know I was holding on to things I should have let go of with all the rest of the past pain. But I realized yesterday that I’ve been looking through a lens of what I don’t have - what was taken from me. It was a rude awakening. If I’m not careful, the life I have now might pass me by. I understand now that it isn’t a one time choice. It is a daily battle - a battle to accept my season, see the many incredible blessings around ...me, and OWN my life. The truth? When I first opened the cover of this book, I cried. Seeing something my kindred has created was breath taking. Being given the image of one day reading this book to my children is a gift. My Sister has breathed life into my soul more than few times reminding me of the promises over my life. This was one of those moments. This book will no doubt become a go-to bedtime story across the globe. It will infuse hope into the adults who read it to the kids - and produce a beautiful... understanding in little ones of the adventure of knowing His name - THE name of Jesus. It is officially launch day - and I could not be more proud of @k_fielding @ben_fielding @brookeligertwood @scottligertwood for what they have produced together (which is so much more than this book). Thank you all for being faithful to the things God lays on your heart and using your gifts to bring it to the rest of the World.

Spot the lynx @emmalynley caught this guy out of the corner of her eye. Glad she did so we didn’t become...I mean ruin...his dinner. It made our pretty grueling climb up even more worth it. Thankful for this opportunity to explore my own backyard.

My Faith is my lifeline - and just yesterday - I was reminded that God is KIND, GRACIOUS & COMPASSIONATE. How beautiful are those adjectives to describe anyone, let alone your Creator? Kind, gracious & compassionate. I mean - who else would create a scene like that .

I have a distinct memory from my childhood of moving into a new home and watching as my parents prayed over rooms in the house. As I sit here by the water after my first night in my new home, this move feels a bit different than the others. It feels less temporary than others. I’m home, both in province, city, and now space. So this is my prayer over my home: May it be a home where we see miracles happen, promises fulfilled and lives restored May it be a safe place for sh...aring, where hurting hearts will find comfort, where those in despair will be infused with new hope, where dreamers will dream new, bigger dreams. May we share many laughs, dry many tears, offer many hugs May judgement be left at the door and peace be the scent that fills this place and stays long after we depart.
