Sickening, just sickening. This mode of transport just brings crime to everywhere it stops!

I wish Translink would stop the double talk, saying the Inter Urban is not "rapid transit" is true ( call it what it is Translink its a community train ), it is not "rapid transit" just like the West Coast Express is not "rapid transit". Inter Urban would be a community train, and West Coast Express is a commuter train. Skytrain to Fleetwood may only happen to make Mayor's developer friends that own land along Fraser Highway Rich.

Why does Henry Braun appear to be doing his best to block much needed transit for his residents in the valley? https://southfrasercommunityrail.ca/update-letters-exchang/

They might as well just admit it, Skytrain will not go ahead anytime soon. It was a bad business plan then "pre covid" and a bad business case now "post covid". https://www.langleyadvancetimes.com//surrey-langley-skytr/

Here is an interesting read for GVRD residents. The sale talked about is a big "Game Changer". Who would plan on building more Skytrain when there may not be anymore parts or trains to purchase? https://southfrasercommunityrail.ca/how-alstom-purchase-o/

Translink once again is a hub for criminals and disturbed people, when will Translink clean up their act? CEO gets paid way too much, they should cut his pay, as he is doing a poor job, give those wages to more transit police. https://globalnews.ca//suspect-wanted-for-attack-on-trans/

Truth and Lies about Transit 16.06.2020

Clearly, Translink is not doing enough to protect people on Skytrain, barely anyone on it during this pandemic, and this guy just gets away. https://globalnews.ca//transit-police-investigate-racially

Question's for Mayor Braun: Firstly, Mayor Braun, in light of the contractual obligations outlined (per the SFCR posted synopsis) in the Master Agreement, and 3 or more legal opinions (per SFCR) supporting the plain fact that CP Rail is responsible for twinning the Pratt Livingston Corridor, can you provide any evidence, other than your opinion, as to why the Interurban Rail Line should not be an immediate and long term solution to the people of the Fraser Valley? Secondly, ...can you explain how a Mayor, who's former business relied on CP Rail, and other rail businesses, for its income, who owns industrial lands along the rail line in question, who still owns the land his former business' head office still resides on, is not in a conflict of interest with any opinion he may give? Thirdly, any official action, or vote, that may be taken on a project like the Interurban Rail Corridor would surely require you to recuse yourself. If that is so, then is not any statement you make now also a conflict of interest? Finally, local municipal assets such as the University of the Fraser Valley and Abbotsford Airport, and their related counterparts, Trinity Western, UFV Chilliwack, Kwantlen PolyTechnic, and others will all benefit from, and support the Interurban Rail Project. The Airport and U District are defined as high priorities in your OCP and in all your marketing and policy materials. Are you now saying that you would prefer to withdraw your support for the development of these community assets by insuring that transportation dollars are not spent on the most cost effective and efficient method of moving people to and from these locations?
