Here on the south coast it very rarely gets cold enough to kill these critters so they can crawl onto our furry friends all year long! ... These nasty ticks can transmit Lyme disease to our furry friends! That being said, we recommend to have your dog on a flea/ tick medication all year round. This is Bella, and she is 11 years old! We are performing her weekly therapeutic laser therapy that she gets for arthritis and pain on both of her stifle (knee) joints! Laser therapy is one of the many treatments we do that can help keep our senior patients comfortable!

Dieting sucks don’t you think? Barney was patiently waiting for the rest of his food to magically appear and fell asleep with his head in the dish. Sadly, he woke up to find out he’s on a diet, and that’s all he gets for his morning meal. Sorry bud!

This wraps up the week with the Behind the Scenes at the Tsawwassen Animal Hospital! This is Yuma 1 week after her Spay surgery with Dr. Neufeld. She looks well recovered! She was such a great patient! So sweet and full of goofiness!

For today’s featured procedure in Behind the scenes at the Tsawwassen Animal Hospital...Brodie was in for his weekly acupuncture visit with Dr. Robertson. He is SO good, and well mannered, and just looks at us like um.... sooo when do I get my cookie? We love him!!
