A driver ended up on the Humber streetcar loop on Nov. 3, 2016. CITYNEWS Toronto police were called to the Lake Shore Boulevard entrance to the streetcar loop around 3:55 a.m. There was a black car stuck on the tracks. The driver was not there when police arrived, but a wallet, including ID, was still inside the vehicle

Renewal of the Humber Loop starting Jan 8 2017. - Humber Loop improvements including new tracks, accessible streetcar platforms, new shelters, rebuilding of the tunnel walkway, roof replacement of the service building and new electrical substation. WOW a new shelter (maybe put a Tim Horton's or something in there). Many years ago there was a newstand inside the building with candy, gum, chips etc. Where the metal gate is.

The TTC website has NO info regarding the temporary 501M bus other than saying it will run in a clockwise direction. No list of stops and times. So much incompetence.

Humber Loop building showing the address as 105 The Queensway, but that address belongs to a new condo at Windermere, 1 mile away. No wonder the TTC Trip Planner on their website can't find any locations and is completely useless like the Sunshine Club running the TTC. Google Maps gives excellent transit directions for free.

How about a transit Right Of Way streetcar or bus, along Lake Shore from Long Branch in the west to the Leslie Barns in the east. Lake Shore Boulevard is wide enough for it. Subways cost a fortune and take many years to build. A simple ROW could happen fast if city planners weren't so stupid and didn't waste time and money studying it to death. This ROW would service all the waterfront parks, beaches and new condos along Lake Shore, take pressure off of the Queen and King... routes and get people downtown for work or pleasure FAST. Single occupant vehicles just fuck up the traffic and create gridlock, and nobody is going anywhere. If you want to get people out of their cars you have to provide a better alternative.
