Jasmin Tuhkasaari Biathlon

Alittle better than yesterday's 15th I came 9th shooting 10/10 prone and still yet again can't hold my standing together shooting 2/10 so overall 12/20 which is bad, we aim for 80% shooting it all races so this was not great. The altitude has really gotten to me, no matter what kind of training you've done coming from sea level to 1400m above is a big change and I feel like I am sucking wind the whole race. Hopefully next weekend I can hold my standing together and get some g...ood placings and be used to the elevation and actually ski to my full capability. Next weekend are the races that matter as they are used for the selection for the youth Olympics and the world junior trials both happening in February so these races were kind of like a test for next weekend. The next week here in Canmore we have training everyday and first race starts Thursday then Saturday and Sunday then flying home (hopefully) for Christmas (standby life) I will try and update this page as much as possible. Well today didn't go as planned my shooting in training and race prep yesterday was very good shooting 35/40 in the prep but today I had my first race in youth women a new category where I am the youngest and I only shot 5/10. Came in for standing too hot and shot 1/5 standing and 4/5 prone. Just getting over being really sick so maybe something todo with why my skiing felt like I had been dragging a weight behind me the whole race. Well 4 more races to go hopefully they are better
