Come one, come all to our Holiday Themed Zoom call! Join us on Tuesday November 24th as we celebrate with some sparkle and fun. We invite you to wear your ugliest holiday sweater, bring your favourite drink, and come share ways to find joy during the holidays when living in a pandemic. (Not easy, but definitely possible!) Grab any sweater and let your creative juices flow, the uglier the better!... We also have some door prizes to share so don’t miss this opportunity to join the last support group meeting of 2020! Meet Foto! Foto was diagnosed with NF1 in 1962 when I was six. Prior to that, I had yearly visits to the cancer clinic at University Hospital in Saskatoon. My mom and the doctors were concerned about the tumour growing on the left side of my nose. Mom suspected that the forceps used in my delivery were the reason for the tumour. Mom was very protective of me, afraid of me injuring myself and having more tumours starting. I was ten before I could ride a bike without training w...heels.
