Since our early frost we've been cleaning out the garden and collecting all the seeds for next year. We have paper bags full of seeds in several different corners of this house. I need to get it all together and organize it in some fashion! The kids love ripping out the dead plants and adding them to the ever growing compost pile. Who knew that a compost pile would be such a great motivator? "Mom, lets go get more and make it even huger!"

Saskatchewan grown blooms vs. frost: the blooms are still winning here but it feels like it won't be too long before the frost wins! I'm hoping for a few more weeks but at this point in the season you never really know. We've been out harvesting all morning. We have lots of beautiful blooms still!
