Since reopening in May the clinic has been busy busy busy! This is the first time we've had same week appointments available in quite some time! Effective Thursday May 7, 2020 You’ll notice a few changes to our clinic. In accordance with public health orders we’ve had to make some changes to the clinic and our procedures. First, our staff will be wearing surgical masks while in the clinic and during patient treatments. While masks are not required to be worn by patients, we do appreciate anyone who is willing to wear their own masks while in the clinic. ... Second, we will be cleaning and sanitizing the clinic between each patient. Because of this, we ask that you wait in your vehicle when you arrive and we will call you when the clinic is safe to enter. Upon entering the clinic you’ll find a hand sanitizing station at the front desk. We ask that you use the sanitizer provided to clean your hands on entering, and again PRIOR to paying for your care. To encourage physical distancing, we will be scheduling patients with 30min gaps between arrival times. Additionally, magazines have been removed from the waiting room for your safety. Please note the enhanced sanitizing and social distancing protocols will result in a reduced patient capacity for the clinic. This means we will not be able to accommodate as many treatments per day as we have in the past. Please bear with us as we navigate this new norm, and be sure to book your appointments in advance. Well, we've hit the 2 week mark since we've been able to practice. I'm trying to make the best of the situation and take care of some items that have been on my to do list for months (*cough *cough, years). Notice To our Turn 2 Chiropractic Patients On Friday, March 20, 2020, the Alberta College and Association of Chiropractic (ACAC), in communication with the Alberta Ministry of Health, sent out a recommendation to all provincial Chiropractors to suspend chiropractic services, except those limited to emergent care. This decision was not made lightly, but was made in the best interest of public health and safety. Effective Monday, March 23, 2020, Turn 2 Chiropractic will be fo...llowing the directive of the ACAC and will be suspending patient care, including massage therapy, Chiropractic and Animal Chiropractic care, with the exception of emergent care as outlined by the ACAC, until further notice. The ACAC defines emergent care as follows: 1. The patient is in an acute condition where they would be severely physically limited from basic daily activities without chiropractic care 2. The patient is in a sub-acute condition that if left untreated would be vulnerable to an acute flare-up that could leave them severely physically limited from basic daily activities. 3. Patients who are not experiencing an acute or sub-acute condition as described above, such as someone who has had a slight twinge after their run, are not considered emergent care. If you are in need of emergent care, please contact us via email at [email protected] or phone 403-460-4945. Please note email and voicemail will be checked a couple of times per day.
