Tonight is the LAST DROP-IN!!! Last chance to glaze any work made in the last three months at Turnstile. No wet clay production tonight. Hope to see you there from 7:30-9:00 pm. Cost: $20.00

Tonight is the fourth last Drop-In at Turnstile. Next Thursday, March 28th will be the last day to work with wet clay. The last two Drop-Ins on April 4th and April 11th will be for glazing only. You can stop by to pick up your finished work at the end of April. If you've ever wanted to try working with clay, now is your chance!

TONIGHT WILL BE THE LAST SCULPTURE CLUB AT TURNSTILE POTTERY. This is your last chance to sculpt or draw from a live model at Turnstile. The cost is $13 for drawing (bring your own materials) and $15 for sculpting (materials included). Model is there from 8 to 9 pm. Come a bit early to get set up. Hope to see you tonight.

For Immediate Release Halifax, Nova Scotia Turnstile Pottery Co-operative announced today that they will be closing their doors permanently. Due in part to the sale of the building they have been located in, as well as the changing needs of the membership, Turnstile Pottery Co-operative is disbanding at the end of May 2013. For the past twelve years Turnstile Pottery Co-operative has provided an enriching studio environment to over 40 emerging potters and sculptors, as well ...as pottery sales and open studio access to the public. Turnstile members have enjoyed teaching classes and sharing their passion for clay with the public and with various community groups. Turnstile members are grateful for the community’s support of local, emerging artists and are hopeful that that support will continue. Turnstile Pottery Co-op will be open for storefront sales from 1 to 5 pm, Wednesday to Saturday until May 12th, 2013. The popular weekly Drop-In class from 7:30 to 9:00 pm will continue every Thursday evening until April 11th, 2013. Drop-In is an opportunity to learn pottery or sculpture in an informal and friendly environment. Minimal instruction is provided and beginners are always welcome! The cost for one Drop-In is $20 (tax & materials included). Turnstile will be hosting a Pottery & Equipment Sale on Friday May 10th, Saturday May 11th, and Sunday May 12th from 11 am to 5 pm. This will be the last chance to shop at Turnstile Pottery Co-op. Come to show your support for local artists and craft makers and to celebrate the positive contribution that Turnstile has had on Halifax’s North End Community. Studio equipment such as shelves, tools, and pottery wheels will also be for sale. See more
