The volume of calls was more than we ever could have expected and we are truely grateful for the support. We also want to apologize to some of our valued customers that had to wait too long for their order or were not able to get an order because we had run out of product. The Turtleback will be open for Good Friday. We have family and individual sized portions of our fish & chips meals available. Give us a call at 902-860-3610 and place an order for pick up or delivery. We open at 5pm but we start taking orders at 4pm so get your order in early.

At The Turtleback we use Dartmouth’s finest #NineLocks’ Dirty Blonde for our beer batter and all of our fresh haddock is sourced from Fisherman’s Market in Bedford. Add our chef’s own tartar sauce and coleslaw and you have a local masterpiece you won’t soon forget. Available as 1 or 2 piece individual portions or take home our family size format which includes (6 pieces of fish, large box of fries and a large caesar salad) for only $49. When you arrive, we will bring your order out to your car Or We can deliver to your door (free delivery on orders above $60) We are all in this together and we are here to support you just as you have supported us.

Update for our valued customers. The Turtleback will remain open at this time with minmal staff as we continue to monitor guidance and directives from our provincial government. As we navigate this new reality we will be offering our complete menu via takeout with discounts on family sized portions. We are encouraging any customers to call in their order and we can have it ready when you arrive. If customers wish to buy a gift card and leave it with us on file we can also provide curbside pre-paid take out orders on a go forward basis to better facilitate guests' efforts with social distancing or if they simply want to have someone else pick up the order for them.
