Here the crew is installing a 6 inch water main extension for a street, with a 6 inch sewer main and catch basin. All service lines were also completed.
This project was a very interesting one! We filled in a section of land and installed a break water that works in this river setting effectively and efficiently. Along with that the front and back yard got a whole new look. We helped install the cedar posts, and watched the contractor build a very unique rope fence ! The grass in these pictures is 8 days after it was planted, it has since then all filled in and is being mowed!
New project today! Adding to an existing footing to build a new cottage on! #carpenter #craftsman #contractor #concretework #formwork #newproject #cottagebuild #stabilala90l #stabilalevels #worktruck #tacomaatwork Tuttle & Son's Construction
A cottage we helped move to the edge of the bank, working with Mervil Rushton and his crew! We then dug a new basement. Placed the gravel and it is awaiting the new concrete foundation. Then is will be ready to slide back onto the new foundation.
Some examples of some finished landscaping we do when the project is completed !
This is 700 feet of shoreline boardwalk that was dismantled. Theh the bank was relined with armour rock and smaller rocks in behind. With the walk way reinstated and all the landscaping touched up, we are just waiting on the 12 lamp posts to be reinstalled, to complete this project. We are happy to see the local community’s going with the more local contractors! Thanks.
We are privileged to have Greg Ripley working as part of our team! We would like to congratulate him on Graduating with the ARHS Class of 2020 with Honours with Distinction! We are proud of your accomplishments and appreciate what an asset and hard worker you are! We wish you all the best and continued success as you proceed with your studies in the fall! CONGRATULATIONS!!!!Greg Ripley
We are doing 700 feet of replacing board walk and a break water restoration.
An extension of a subdivision, we started over a week ago! The street, sewer and waterlines were extended, along with two big 50 by 150 pads for the buildings! This land was very swampy so took a lot of rock ! This finished pad you see being rolled is within 2 inches of grade over the whole thing, and ready for the footing.
We installed a new septic, along with underground power! A new water line was installed also to the well. The pad you see is for a new bunk addition to the cottage. It was finished off with top soil, seed, fertilizer, lime and then fan raked and rolled!
We install septics on just about any size lot ! With this being the smallest we have ever seen. It is a slope and sand filter design. We installed a power and sewer hook up for a camper here.
We started screening Topsoil today! Call for pricing and delivery’s ! Or private message, Thank you for your support !
Spring is here and we are on the move ! This lot the top soil was stripped. Then the fill was cut down at the front of the lot roughly 8 feet, and transferred to the back of the lot, where it was compacted in 1 foot lifts. It changed this building lot tremendously! Have a project you need looked at or a price on give us a call!
This is one of the break waters we have installed this winter it is roughly 35 feet in height with a rock ledge at the top for safety. We have also installed a blanket of smaller aggregate rock to stop interior erosion. Call us today for a quote! We offer quality work with a fair price!
We have installed quite a few septics over the winter! Whether a failed system or just a new build that needed finishing touches before summer, we are here to help each client in a way that best suits their needs!
We re constructed the land here, by filling it back in and supporting it with smaller rock in behind the break water. The land scapping will be finished this spring as it was winter when this project was completed.
A new pad was built for a cottage in a low land area. awaiting a footing to be poured on top of so the cottage can be then moved back over.
We worked all winter on new and old break waters. This one had an old wooden breakwater before. It was updated with granite armour rock.
This cottage lot was a mess of trees, this fall it was cleared, the cottage demolished, and a new foundation and build has started this winter. We installed a new septic and roughed in the landscaping with just fill. This lot used to be so wet it was hard to walk on, it is all built up now so it will stay nice and dry to enjoy.
We made a high pad for this cottage so they could see the ocean from there front windows. Along with redoing there landscaping. The grass was growing fast, this was within two weeks of being planted and that is with the cold fall temperatures !
Your septic tank have a broken top or is it a old steel tank we can fix that ! With a new cement tank and riser to have easy access to it at anytime with a filter to help your septic bed last longer !
This site was interesting as they had lost about 30 feet of land along with there septic system. We reinstalled the septic and filled the land up 8 feet higher and added a 15 foot sea wall to break the waves. The landscaping will be finished in the early spring.
This is one of many roads that was over grown with up to 4 inch trees on it. We pushed everything back and added a nice crown to the road to keep the water from laying on it.
One of the many break waters that are underway this fall and winter season. This one is approximately 40 feet down and 150 feet long with a nice wall. It has a good slope to protect the bank with an improved finished lawn above it.
Did your culvert, or drive way wash out. Perhaps you lost a piece of your land along the coast line. We’re on the move, give us a call!
A septic bed that failed a customer at the beginning of the week ! Projects like these become priority, to us above other projects as someone can’t use there toilet or water for daily life. A new septic field and tank was installed along some wonderful finish landscaping, to top it all off.
This lot will be hard to miss on the tidnish river! Was a very wet area that was filled up with clay fill. Then a pad and driveway was added in with some rock and gravel and a finished lawn out front so the customer good enjoy the rest of there summer there !
On behalf of the Cumberland Snowmobile Club, the trail upgrades are now complete from the Trouthole Bridge back to the baseball field. I travelled the trail in ...its entirety yesterday and have to say it is in the best condition I have ever seen. We are making arrangements to clear out the approaches to the Ketchum Suspension Bridge with a brush cutter soon. The engineering assessment on the bridge has not been received in its entirety but it is not negative for future use once repairs are completed. We will share the report with the association and DNR and at some point a group will need to be in charge of the work and the cost. Note - the recommended upgrades will be necessary for pedestrian use as well, for example decking and railing replacement to last another 25 or more years. For those that are unaware, the reason why the snowmobile club was able to get the engineering assessment done is that we had access to some major funding this summer for trails in the area and we felt this was important to the community. There have been a lot of volunteers step up locally and some major investments by all 3 levels of government to help us get to this point for all trail users, so thank you!
Work at the Tidnish end of the Ship Railway is now complete, we are told some hikers and cyclists are already using it.
A couple of the woods roads we have whipped back up into shape, so they could truck wood on them throughout the summer.
We finished off the civil work at the Pugwash Eaton stage earlier this week it is now ready for sod, and the wood Construction is just wrapping up also! We were glad to be apart of the community project !
We have added another truck this season! Along with a new colour scheme to make us stand out ! Watch out for this new sweet unit on the road this summer !
A little project we have started with the Cumberland snowmobile club!

Parking lot that was dug out due to soft spots through out the lot. It was rocked and gravelled for a good solid surface.
A camp lot that was root raked and levelled for bigger lawn space!
Another pad for a cottage that was prepared for Post Tech to come in and drill piles on so that the cottage could be moved on to the pad for final landscaping. The trees were cut down and stumps removed. Then the top soil was dozed off, with fill hauled in to make a level pad. Topped off with some vapour barrier and 3/4 minus gravel.
