Motorcyclists should always wear the full protective clothing even in the summer. Special helmets and enough fluid are important to help keep the head cool. Anyone who does not wear the full protective clothing due to high temperatures risks severe abrasions and broken bones, even in minor accidents. #heat #motorcycle #summer #temperature

In anticipation for the soon approaching Canada Day long weekend, many are starting to thoroughly clean their motor homes and check its functionality. Start with cleaning your vehicle from top to bottom, including the roof. Windshield cleaning is a non-negligible safety factor as streaks or soiling can significantly affect visibility. Plastic windows cannot be cleaned with normal glass cleaner, as this can cause stress cracks and blind the surfaces. Instead, wash the windows ...with water after cleaning and rub dry with a leather cloth. In the interior, the motor home should be vacuumed/mopped and wiped down with a damp cloth. Cushions, mattresses and carpets can also be vacuumed and ventilated with the vacuum cleaner. However, you should urgently ensure that the upholstery, mattresses or carpets are not wet or they are optimal breeding grounds for fungi and bacteria. To clean these surfaces, a damp cloth is sufficient. OUR TIP: Leave the windows and doors open during the spring cleaning so that the moisture can be removed. #TUVNORDCanada #motorhome

What kind of co-pilot do you prefer while driving? Do you prefer the entertainer who plays good music and tells stories, or do you prefer a quiet passenger who just sits calmly without comment? Passengers who constantly chatter, know everything, and have driving opinions are often the most annoying to drivers. #drivers #copilots

If an interesting used car is found, you should make an appointment to look at it in peace. It is advisable to create a checklist of the aspects you want to check in advance. A tour around the car should be conducted to see if there are bumps, discolorations or scratches on the body and bumpers. Even if a seller assures that the car is accident-free, you should still look at gaps in the doors, trunk and bonnet: If the distance of the closed door to the fender is not consisten...tly the same, this indicates a warped body. This is a sure indication that the car has a major crash behind it. Sometimes the previous owner repairs only the cosmetic damage and hidden defects remain. Then the car can be a cost trap in a short time, says our TUV expert. More information here: https://www.tuv-nord.com//car-ad/vehicle-condition-report/ #usedcars #purchase

With the days getting sunnier, the temperatures begin to rise especially in a small room such as the car. It is important to note that one should never leave their dog or any other faithful companion alone in the car. A heat stroke can occur very quickly for the dog, which leads to death if he/she is not released in time and/or treated accordingly. Do not underestimate in what short time a car can heat up to unbearable temperatures even at outside temperatures of 20C! After 5 minutes the temperature in the car rises to 24C, after 10 minutes to 27C, after 30 minutes to 36C and after 1 hour up to 50C! Also, one or more open windows or parking the vehicle in the shade is not enough to avoid this overheating. #DogDays #Dog #Auto #Heat #Summer
