No printer? No problem! Curbside Printing is now available at every Library location except Rocky Ridge. To use Curbside Printing, you must have access to Wi-Fi.... We cannot modify or check print requests once they have been received, so make sure you confirm your print quantity and details before submitting through Everyone Print. Once you submit your print job, you have 24 hours to collect it. After 24 hours, print jobs automatically disappear from the queue and you will have to resubmit. You won't be charged for print jobs that you submitted but have not been printed yet. HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT: We are ALMOST ready to welcome skaters!!!!!! After nearly 8 years, we have had an amazing and growing group of big-hearted volunteers step forward and are making our outdoor rink come back to life. ... We have lights, benches and a nice large rink that is nearly complete. We need a couple more days of this chilly weather and we should be ready to welcome skaters. Please stay off the ice until we have removed the "Do not use yet" signs. COVID restrictions are in place. Unfortunately no hockey games are permitted and skating only with your current household is allowed. Please give other skaters room by distancing properly. If the rink is busy please enjoy and then make room for new skaters. Use at your own risk. Tuxedo Park users: Our park (located on 29th to 30th Ave, between Center Street and 2nd Ave NE) is NOT an off leash dog park. We do appreciate seeing more and more residents using the parks, but if you have a dog they must be on a leash at all times. ... We have received many complaints from other park users and residents. Some complaints have mentioned children getting hurt by off leash dogs, this is unacceptable. Unfortunately we do not have an off leash park in Tuxedo Park. But there are some fabulous ones very close. Community members, if you see anyone using the park with an unleashed dog please call 311. ** Missing boy located ** Raphael GEBREMICHAEL, 12, who was previously reported missing, was located safe this evening by investigators. We would like to thank... the media and the public for their assistance in this case. To respect the privacy of Raphael and his family, no further details will be released. Case # 20425315 ====================== Missing boy - Raphael Gebremichael We are asking for the public’s help to locate a 12-year-old boy who left his school in northeast Calgary earlier this morning and has not returned home yet. Raphael Gebremichael, 12, was last seen today, Friday, Oct. 23, 2020, at 9:30 a.m., leaving Colonel Macleod School. Raphael has not returned home or to his school and police and his family are concerned for his safety. Raphael is not dressed for current winter conditions. Raphael is described as 5’ tall, with a slim build and short curly black hair. He was last seen wearing a grey sweater with red and blue stripes, blue pants, grey and black boots, a blue scarf, and black and blue mitts and a toque.
