We had a blast decorating our sponsored trees for the annual Lynn Valley Parade of Trees and the Dundarave Festival of Lights! Shoutout to our Twin Lions team for once again volunteering to install 70 trees in the Lynn Valley Plaza for the Lynn Valley Community Association, and to Great Canadian Landscaping for pre-trimming! We hope that these beautiful trees will help bring light to the end of a challenging year.

Congratulations to our newest journeyman carpenter Jared for passing his Red Seal exam! He has put in so much hard work throughout the years and is the very first Twin Lions team member to complete all four years and all registered hours through Twin Lions! It’s been a pleasure having him on the team for 5 years, and seeing how far he has come! We are so proud of everything you have accomplished Jared! Now get back to work!

Being recognized as a community leader is an absolute honour, and supporting the North Shore community is at the heart of everything we do! Navigating through COVID and its many challenges, we decided early on that we would do everything we could to keep each one of our employees. So, when job-site restrictions prevented some of our team from working on projects, we decided to put them to work in our community! We reached out to several local community centres and clubs... to see how we could volunteer our labour - turns out, finding places to volunteer during COVID was harder than we thought! Even so, the North Shore Women’s Centre, North Shore Disability Resource Centre, Capilano Rugby Club, and Parkgate Rec Centre took us up on our offer, and the guys were able to jump in and help with renovations, demolitions, and everything in between. Happy 5 year anniversary to Jared! Over the last 5 years, Jared has brought exceptional talent, his infectious energy, and endless laughs to our team! He has grown into an amazing carpenter and is one of our first apprentices to complete the entire BCIT apprenticeship program through Twin Lions! As an integral part of our team, he is equal parts strong work ethic and good times always bringing his positive vibes to every project he works on. We can’t wait for the next 5!!
