Brad's always busy making improvements! New liner and new sand at the North side of the lake.

Thankfully we had Halloween in August at the Twisted Root, because this was possibly the only halloween of 2020 for many families! It was so much fun, with amazing costumes and decorated sites! Tricks and treats for young and old! Thank you to all who participated! Brad and I witnessed a heartwarming scene that evening that I want to share! As we went around "trick or treating" we were following a group of young girls dressed as 80's Chicks. They came to a site that had ...gone all out with decorating and had left a bowl of candy on a table using the honour system because they were our trick or treating with Thing 1 and Thing 2. Because there were WAY more kids participation than anyone had expected, when the 80's girls came to the table, the candy bowl was empty. They were not disappointed! Just the opposite! They reached into their own stashes and put handfuls of their candy into the bowl for the next trick or treaters to get! They did not know anyone had witnessed this generous gesture, but Brad and I stopped in our tracks and almost teared up! What amazingly unselfish youngsters! Made me proud that you are part of our Twisted Root family and I am sure makes your parents even more proud! You have amazing kids!
