Ontario’s West Coast gets cozy with Huron Hygge Huron County, Ontario To help Huron County residents enjoy the winter season and continue to support local businesses, the County of Huron Economic Development department has launched the Huron Hygge campaign. Hygge, pronounced hoo-gah, is a Danish word that emphasizes coziness, self-care, contentment and well-being, especially through the long, winter months. Whether we realize it or not, Huron County has been practicing the ...hygge lifestyle for years. Between hunkering down in the coziness by a fire, and getting outside to take in the magic of a fresh, fallen snow, Ontario’s West Coast is a great place to be during some of the darkest days of the year. From virtual classes and online concerts, to self-guided tours and winter light displays, follow along as we begin to roll out the coziness of Huron Hygge at www.ontarioswestcoast.ca/huronhygge! http://www.northhuron.ca/residents.php See more
