"I'm not feeling well." Uncomfortable words to hear from your student! If he or she is living away from home, encourage a call to the campus Wellness Centre for direction and maybe an appointment. Also alert the RA (for dorm students). Keep encouraging these habits: --Wash hands often --Wipe down door handles, faucets, etc. --No sharing cups, utensils, phones, computer mice.... --Ramp up sleep. --Increase hydration. --Get fresh air when possible. --Got a flu shot yet? --Keep a stocked get-well kit (maybe time for a sick day care package?) Mom & Dad--When you're asking yourselves what's happening with your student, ask God instead. Maybe he'll give you a hint of the ways he's shaping and shepherding your young adult. Keep praying and trusting!
