It's #TeamTycoon Tuesday and we're excited to share the love and spread the word about an exciting event that Nikki has been working on! Having worked together for the #SnowflakeGala in 2019, the Stollery Children's Hospital Foundation is near and dear to our hearts. To ensure that they still receive the support they need this year, Nikki and her team at Stollery Kids have put together an incredible evening called 'Snowed In', which takes place on Monday, December 7 at 6PM. ...Visit www.stollerysnowedin.com to grab your tickets to a cosy, evening in with the family. You can also help by purchasing 50/50 tickets or bidding on their silent auction items. Lots of great ways to support the kids who need it most!

We've done our homework in asking all the questions you may want to know from an #EventPlanners perspective. No? Guess what, it's still your lucky day! 'How?' you might ask. Comment on this post with the platform you want us to look into. We'll do the research, add it to our list, and give you a shout once it's been added. Win-Win!

A couple weeks ago, we shared a tip about the importance of having a #VirtualEvent support plan in place for your virtual events! Over the next little while, we'll be digging into this more and breaking down each piece of a virtual event support plan. First up is #TechSupport for the event organizer. Within this is making sure you know what your day-of support looks like from the #VirtualPlatform team you are using, exactly who to reach out to, and how to reach them if need...ed. If you're working with an AV company, make sure they have everything they need to support your event (e.g. production schedule with detailed timings, graphics, backups of presentations/audio, etc.). Most importantly, have a "platform manager" who has researched the virtual event platform and knows how to run the back-end, optimize the audio and visual quality, switch between speakers/videos and troubleshoot issues.
