Retro Runway is back, and this time they are going completely virtual! Next week is their virtual fashion week, which runs from Monday, November 23rd to Friday, November 27th. Each day of their awareness week will feature a different theme involving sustainable fashion and have a daily themed outfit challenge that you can enter simply by sharing photos of outfits you created with items you already own. ... This week is a chance to learn about all things sustainable fashion from the comfort of your house and gives you the chance to dig through your closet to create some unique new outfits. Winners of the daily outfit challenges have the opportunity to wins some e-gift cards from local businesses that supported their fashion show in March. Want to learn more? Well, the Sustainable Student, our student-led blog, is just one way you can volunteer with us in a manner that works best for your schedule and time commitment level. The Sustainable Student is always accepting content contributors to share their written or photographic work on the blog.... You can do these at your own pace and submit them at a timing that works best for you. You could write a reflection on an environmental issue, share a story or opinion piece on your experiences, or even compile a list of tips & tricks you've acquired in our personal sustainability journey. You could even repurpose some of your old assignments to be blog posts! This blog is a space open to writers of all experience levels and can be a great place to test out a writing style different than your traditional academic papers and reports.
