Part 2: Get to know the role of Vice-President!

Welcome to our new series - our current exec members will walk you through the duties of their role so that you can choose what position you want to run for! Curious what the UABC president does? Meet our current president - Shirley!

Just wanted to wish you all a Merry Christmas and a Happy New Year! It's been a crazy semester and although our time was unfortunately cut short, it was nice seeing you all back on court while it lasted! As mentioned in our email, plans for winter 2021 is very tentative but you know what’s certain? Some exec positions will be open for next year so pls think about joining the exec team! Keep your eyes on your emails for more info on exec positions this week (we’re just finishing writing up the descriptions) and we hope to see you all again in 2021

Happy Reading Week! You know what that means.UBAC Elections are just around the corner :) This is your chance to get more involved! Deadline to submit is this Friday 11:59PM. All you need is a short blurb on why you’re interested in running for the position(s) and a photo! You can run also run for more than one position. The roles open are: President, Vice-President, Treasurer, Public Relations, Event Coordinator, Gym & Safety Officer, Secretary, and Executive Assistant. You can find more details on the 2021-2022 Exec Member Candidacy and a refresher of the duties of each role there - so make sure to go and check it out!

As you may have heard with new govt regulations, sessions have been unfortunately cancelled for the next two weeks (Nov 20/22 and Nov 27/29). Hopefully sessions will resume in December (we miss seeing your lovely faces!) but we will let you all know as soon as we are given further information. Hope you all have a nice rest of the month.
