Do you have an awesome professor, clinical educator, or teaching assistant in the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine that you want to recognize for their efforts and excellent instruction? The nomination period for the RMSA Excellence in Teaching Awards has been extended till February 12th! These awards recognize exemplary instructors in the Faculty of Rehabilitation Medicine. One award is given to an instructor in each department who best personifies excellence and inspires ...students. Students can nominate an instructor from their department by filling out a nomination package, writing a letter of support, and obtaining a minimum of three signatures from other students in their program. Since cohorts are away from Corbett Hall, electronic signatures and forms signed by counterparts (i.e., 3 people can print, sign, and scan separate nomination forms in support of one nominee) are allowed. Completed nomination packages can be emailed to [email protected]. Nominations must be submitted by Friday, February 12nd at 5 pm. More information can be found on the nomination form here: https://tinyurl.com/TeachingAward2021

Join Merna, last year’s Wellness Coordinator, for some words of wisdom and rich discussion about Zoom fatigue. Besides those superstars (who probably own blue light glasses, a standing desk and a dog), we all need tips on how to manage best during these online times! Ironically, we will be meeting on Zoom on Wednesday November 18th from 12:00-12:30pm. Bring your lunch, coffee, Zoom woes and eagerness to thrive!
