Meet Aaron! He is a 2nd year Mechanical Engineering student and is the Administration Team Lead with STARR. Aaron is responsible for managing STARR’s website and social media, tracking various information for the group, along with helping coordinate planning for our big trip to SAC2020 in June! I love being a part of STARR! Being a part of a student group allows for individuals to be challenged, learn with one another, and make new friends in the process, and I can say that... checked each of those categories since joining the group. I like to think that I am particular about how I want things to be and look, and in STARR I can use that characteristic about myself in the work that I do. When Aaron isn’t at school and making spreadsheets, he enjoys being outdoors. His favourite outdoor activity is fishing, with mountain biking and hiking closely behind. Meet Prasad! He is in his 1st year of Engineering and is the Deputy Team Lead for Avionics. One of Prasad’s roles is taking charge of the Avionics team when Evan isn’t available. He currently overlooks the servos, flight computer and ground control communications. He also helps organize workshops where group members come together to work on the avionics systems and troubleshoot issues. Evan also consults for the Payload Team’s electronic designs.
