Did someone say FREE Conference on Diversity in Engineering CFES / FCEG conference?? Apply TODAY to be a UBC Engineering delegate! Applications are open until Nov 12! https://ubc.ca1.qualtrics.com/jfe/form/SV_0vMm9m1aIhYl2F7 CDE gives you the opportunity to learn about diversity in a context specific to engineering, and meet other like-minded delegates interested in learning about what it means to be diverse in today’s increasingly globalized world, and learn about the challe...nges and opportunities that come with diversity, equity, and inclusivity. This year’s CDE will feature multiple presentations presented by engineers and students from all across Canada, with topics ranging from intersectionality to diversity in design. Delegates will get the chance to experience these talks through a two-day conference period hosted virtually over Zoom, and have the chance to meet and network with the speakers and other fellow delegates from all across Canada, right from their own home. There are no prerequisites required to come to CDE other than being a Canadian Engineering student, making it a great starting point for those interested in joining future engineering conferences, or those who want to expand their horizons and discover more about the engineering world beyond what’s normally taught in the (virtual) classroom. You may even see some of those same delegates again in future CFES conferences! #cde #cdi #2020 #cfes #fceg
