The Consulting Club is happy to announce its final meeting with a distinguished guest speaker and Capstone coordinator, David Jenkins. The meeting will be held on March 18, 2019, at 3:30 pm. Bring your friends (Free for Management Students and $5 for Non-Management Students) to have a discussion on how to enrich your student experience at UBCO. Get valuable tips on ways to prepare for a case competition, approach a real-world business scenario and other valuable insights that provide a meaningful opportunity to engage with industry professionals. Dear consulting club members, James Grieve from Build4Value has brought to us a great opportunity to have a conversation with him about consulting and also to participate in his research. This is what the research is about: "During this engaging and thought-provoking exercise, I would like to facilitate a dialogue lasting approximately 90 minutes with 4 6 members of the UBCO Consulting Club. The purpose of the exercise is to enable participants to discover essential cultur...al characteristics, understanding and empathy of other members with topics related to the authority and intimacy of working together on consulting engagements now and in the future. Aside from the academic intention of this research, I believe that the findings of this research will benefit participants and will enhance the development of the UBCO Consulting Club as well."
