Join us as we introduce a reduced sensory environment to increase accessibility for students with disabilities. Accommodations include reduced light, nose, and increased staff support. Get ready for our DIY winter wood sign class!! The event will take place on December 8th from 7-9pm via Zoom! For $25, you will be given all the supplies necessary to stain, apply stencils, and paint your sign!! Sign up by November 30th at recreation.ok.ubc.ca!!

We’re fast approaching November which means... it’s time to THRIVE!! During Thrive month, we have been working with a group of Health Promotion students who have been working on reducing external stimuli in the Hangar to allow for a more accessible and inclusive experience for students with disabilities. We will be hosting a few sessions in the Hangar with this reduced stimuli on the following days/times: November 4 all day November 11, 18, 25 from 11am-12pm

We’ve partnered with SUO Esport to present the Minigame Extravaganza! It takes place at 5:00pm on October 23rd!! See details on post about how to play!

UBCO Recreation is excited to announce that we are starting Register & Play on Monday!! Sign up online for a time slot and come on by for basketball, badminton, or pickleball (coming soon)! Unfortunately, we are still not accepting drop ins at this time.
