Currently in Studio 111, we are pleased to have artist-in-residence Jennifer Furlong! Jennifer Furlong is a second-year interdisciplinary graduate student in performance and creative writing enrolled in the Fine Arts program at the University of British Columbia Okanagan. She attained her BFA in Theatre (English minor) from Memorial University of Newfoundland at Grenfell Campus (NL) & Harlow Campus (UK). She has worked professionally for eleven years in both traditional and n...on-traditional settings of Performance and Theatre Art. Her training has gained interdisciplinary strength from guest artists in choreography, movement, voice, directing, and performance techniques. Her current work explores audio immersive environments found within the theatrical story, researching communicative performance that engages audiences in aural, haptic, and embodied ways. See more
