West Coast Hake set to begin April 20th Hello everyone! As we navigate through the new reality the virus has caused it is important to remember that we have to keep our distance, but there is a coming together too. As part of the food supply chain we will be returning to work for the West Coast Hake season beginning April 20th and plan to run until mid-December 2020. People around the world purchase West Coast Hake to feed their families and we are a vital part of the foo...d supply chain. Hiring Yes, we will be hiring as we need 100 additional employees to get to our preferred staffing numbers. We are working on ideas such as video phone call interviews and more. Ucluelet Harbour Seafoods will soon be posting information about upcoming Job Fair and Information sessions. Sessions will be held throughout March and April. Plans are in the works to hold sessions in Vancouver, Port Alberni, Ucluelet and other locations. Our goal is to recruit employees to join our hardworking teams for our 2020 West Coast Hake Season. The season is set to begin end of April beginning of May.
