Lydia is 6 years old champion from Alberta and merit holder at national level. Jia is also 6 years old and was declared 1st runners-up from Alberta region and merit holder at national level. Every year UCMAS Alberta holds a provincial Mental Math and Abacus competition. This year the competition was held in Genesis Centre, Calgary, Alberta.
