CW: sexual violence . . . .... . In light of the accounts of sexual violence that have been shared by first year students in Residence this week, the UGE would like to reaffirm our commitment to believing and supporting survivors. We encourage people to read and share these accounts if they feel safe doing so, and to use content warnings to be considerate of the mental wellbeing of other survivors on social media. It is our hope that by sharing these stories and the demands of the survivors, that they will receive justice and that McGill administration will do what is necessary to hold abusers accountable. For survivors and their loved ones wishing to support them who are affected by the current news at McGill, we have included below a list of resources that can be accessed both on- and off-campus. If you have any questions about these resources or would like access to other resources available, please do not hesitate to reach out us through whatever platform is most comfortable for you.
