Whether it’s organizing young volunteers to help buy groceries for seniors; working with relief organizations to deliver food packages to our increasing list of low-income recipients; finding shoes and school supplies for refugee single parents whose children have none; setting up chat times between volunteers and isolated seniors to share current info in ...Ukrainian; collecting necessary information by phone or pick-up for our volunteers to prepare returns and other government forms so our clients don’t miss out on necessary benefits; helping seniors pay bills on-line or by phone; to comforting a new widow by getting her the candles she needs in her time of solitary grief to mark her husband’s passing we are still here.
