SATURDAY SCHOOL CANCELLED Due to the escalation of the coronavirus situation in Hamilton and area, a decision was made to cancel our Saturday School this coming weekend. We were already scheduled to be closed on March 21 as well for Spring Break.... Please keep in touch through social media to find out when the school will reopen. DAYLIGHT SAVINGS AND SHEVCHENKO CONCERT! First: don't forget that clocks spring ahead one hour tonight! Second: Our Shevchenko Concert will take place in the church hall tomorrow after liturgy (approximately 11:45 - 12 noon). Please have your children there in ample time, dressed in a Ukrainian shirt. The children have all been practicing their lines and songs for this important event! See you there!

ALL SERVICES CANCELLED ~ SUNDAY JAN. 19 2020 Due to the inclement weather and after due consideration and consultation with Fr. Makarenko and the Parish executi...ve, tomorrow's Divine Liturgy, Water Blessing and Communal Jordon Feast Luncheon have been postponed to next Sunday. January 26th. Christ is Born! Let us glorify Him! Hello everyone, Here is the plan for this Saturday, Jan. 18:... We will NOT be going to the school. Please meet at the chapel in the Shevchenko senior's residence, 190 Gage Ave. South, at the corner of Gage and Maplewood (the "old" building). There is no parking at Shevchenko, so you're best to park on Maplewood. Enter the building through the door in the parking lot behind the building. The door will be propped open so you can get in. If anyone gets lost, please text Mark at 289-253-0265. The service there starts at 9:30, and it's a short service that kids can participate in. You don't have to be there for the start, but please be there by 11:00 so we can carol in the dining room afterwards (in the "new" building). There will be snacks for the children. After that, we're going to discuss/practice our plans for singing at the Jordan meal after church on Sunday. We will be done by 12:30. They are calling for snow on Saturday, so please drive safe. After liturgy on Sunday, Jan. 19 we will be having the Great Blessing of Waters for the Feast of Theophany/Jordan. Following that, we'll have our annual Jordan meal - very similar to a Ukrainian Christmas Eve meal - in the church hall (free will offering), which will also include caroling! All parents are invited to participate in the carol. 9:30 - 11:00 - Lectures (and singing practice).... 11:30 am - Caroling at the Ukrainian Credit Union Buduchnist 12:00 - Caroling at Karlik Pastry. 12:45 - (If you're still available...) Caroling at Macassa Lodge, 701 Upper Sherman in Hamilton. Please help transport children. We can carpool, but there are many small children who are still in car seats. See more
