Our fundraiser yesterday was a huge success! We were able to raise 18,000$ The money raised will be equally divided between the Intercommunity Health Center of London and PFlag of London. Our efforts to raise this money pales in comparison to what these two organizations do on a daily basis for the love and care of our community, they are the real heroes in this story. Thank you to all those who came and supported this meaningful event. We could not have accomplished this wi...thout your support! A huge thank you to my co-host, Joseph Higgin from the Inkery tattoo and to The Taste of Ink and Addictive Tattoo. Thank you to all the participating artists. Rich Lambe and Ronnie MacDonald were also part of the planning and organizing team to make this event happen. Thank you to all the volunteers who gave up their day to come and serve their community. The army of volunteers brought so much love and care to our event. I cannot forget to mention Eikon Device in this thank you as well! They supplied us with the equipment we needed to make our day successful. Over the years Eikon has given repeatedly to our events without question. Starbucks on Wellington provided us with refreshments, Shopper's Drug Mart of Dorchester also made a generous donation. We had Paintings and piles of food that was also donated to this event. I know I'm missing giving thanks to many people in this post. The bottom line is that we were supported greatly in this event. When we come together in love, so much can be accomplished.
