We’re helping to reduce the financial stress on parents during the COVID-19 pandemic with a new one-time benefit. The Working Parents Benefit provides a paymen...t of $561 per child to parents who used licensed or unlicensed child care between April and December 2020. Starting March 1 to 5, parents will be able to apply based on the area of the province they live in. Application intake closes March 31. A MyAlberta Digital ID is required to apply. You won’t need to wait to receive your activation code to apply for the benefit but your driver’s licence or provincial ID will need to be current to set up the account. Make sure it’s not expired to avoid application delays: account.alberta.ca You’re eligible to apply if: you paid at least $561 or more for 3 months of child care services between April 1 and December 31, 2020 (bill or invoice required) you have an annual household income of $100,000 or less The full list of eligibility requirements can be found at alberta.ca/WorkingParentsBenefit

We made it out to memorial drive last week to pay tribute to our fallen loved ones. L learned that if it wasn’t for these brave people, that we wouldn’t have a peaceful country to call home.
