2020 06 25: UMFCI Range access during NB Fire season. As the UMFCI Range is situated on crown land, access will be governed by the daily provincial government announcements, especially during periods of extreme fire conditions. Crown land closure information is available through: a) Daily media announcements, b) Government contact # (506) 453-2510 (as provided by Minister),... c) NRED (DNR) Doaktown (506) 365-2001 (during normal office hours), d) Local woods work contractors/workers will be aware. Note: If using the NB Gov. website www2.gnb.ca, it is difficult to locate current crown land closure information.

2020 06 23 The UMFCI Range land is leased from Province of NB and as such is located on Crown Land. GNB have announced access and usage of Crown land is prohibited due to the extreme fire hazard present from dry conditions. We are advised that this closure is expected to end by the weekend
