A portrait of one of the neighbourhood mule deer. Doe Eyed ll oil on linen panel, 8X8. This lovely little lady was responsible for cleaning out all of my emerging tulips this spring.

I had a wonderful time this morning doing my live demo through Swinton’s art supply! I invite you to watch it, you’ll see some of my process, some of my thoughts and colours! Towards the end I’ll be aware that the microphone went weird but be patient it doesn’t last for very long. Also be sure to watch part two, again technical difficulties cut off the video at the end, so look for a part two for the finished painting and short studio tour.
