The beginning of the very last, definitive, never (okay, unlikely)-to-be-repeated version of "Cool Breath of the Moon." Not the one in the gallery, but the one taking shape in the studio .....

Just started: the last, I promise, very last version of "Cool Breath of the Moon." Final. Definitive. Truest to the feeling.

Getting ready for the Cowichan Valley Arts Council's Fine Arts Show with my "Cool Breath of the Moon." The exhibit is at the Portals Gallery in Duncan (next door to the library) from April 30 to May 11.

The opening reception for VISDA's "Connections" at the Cedar Hill Arts Centre in Victoria yesterday was well attended and the conversations sooooo interesting! The exhibit runs through May 5. Here is my piece, "Uprooted."

So far this spring, we've seen the beautiful crocuses, cherry blossoms, dogwood, forsythia, magnolia, and now skunk cabbage. Brilliant presence, but oh, the stink! Still, an art quilt has no scent .....
