MEET SABRINA Sabrina is new to the team this year, and we are so excited to be part of her regular program with these absolute badass horses Sabrina is a Canadian International Advanced level Event rider who began her journey at the International level in 2004 (she began competing in 1989) and has been named to the Canadian Equestrian Team training list 8 times! Some of her notable achievements include:... Winner of the Rebecca Farms FEI CCI 4* s Winner of the Aspen Farms Adequan USEA Advanced Gold Cup 2 consecutive years 3 time winner of USEA Blue Ribbon award (each received for 3 or more top 3 finishes in a year on the same horse) Top 3 placing at multiple FEI 4* competitions on 2 different horses Placed at the Advanced American Eventing Championships in Kentucky Winner of Fittest horse Award at Chase Creek Three day event A passion for horses, sport and Olympics have been fueled throughout Sabrina’s life by her rich equestrian heritage. Her parents produced many horses, one of which was Adonis, who competed at the 1992 Barcelona Olympics. She has also drawn inspiration from her Great Aunt and Uncle who represented Switzerland in Olympic Show Jumping multiple times. Coaching is Sabrina’s other passion; she became a certified High Performance Competition Coach in 2001. By continuing to operate her business, Excalibur Equestrian, in Langley, BC while pursuing Eventing at the International level, she hopes to inspire young athletes in her community. Giving back to the community that has supported her over the years, she assists in BC Young Riders XC course walks and recently volunteered and was elected as a Director of Horse Trials BC, the Chair of the Safety and Rules committee and a member of the High Performance Committee. MEET DALYCE This girl! I’ve known Dalyce for about 7 years when we rode together weekly. She has been in my corner since I started this journey, and was my first sponsored rider. I have too much to say about this human, but won’t because it’ll take too long, so let’s just stick with the relevant stuff. She is a very talented rider with some really cool horses, you don’t want to miss watching this girl! Welcome back, Dalyce & Poncho!... My name is Dalyce Temple. I’m from Surrey BC. I’ve been riding horses since the young age of 4 and started my career in the hunter/jumper world. In 2013 I decided I wanted to add more speed and start barrel racing! My main unicorn is RNR Breannas Guy (Poncho) who had a great Futurity season in 2019. He has brought the passion for this sport back into my veins after the sudden loss of my previous horse Dakota. Poncho was my first Futurity colt I have trained which brought to me my up and coming 2019 colt My Dineros on Nick (Stinger) I can’t wait to have both of them in my trailer heading down the road! It’s crucial to make sure my horses are feeling the best they can so they can perform to the best of their abilities, and Jessi is my number one girl to do so. MEET ADRI I met this girl & her dad 2 years ago when we stabled beside them at a race, and her dad, Lee, without question lent us an extension cord for the EquiVibe when I grabbed an incompatible one from home(ooops). I watched her dedication to her horse and her riding all weekend, and happily took her and Gunnar in last year as a sponsored horse and rider. Hello!! My name is Adri Gussen, I’m 16 years old, and I live in Chilliwack, BC. My horse’s name is Gunnar and he’s ...a competitive barrel horse. I’ve been riding and been around horses my whole life! I’ve rode English, western, showed, jumped, I’ve tried it all!! But my all time favourite is barrel racing. Gunnar and I learnt the ways of barrel racing together, and have started our long journey together. I trained Gunnar on barrels myself in early 2019, and he proved that he has the biggest heart. Within a year we had accomplished so many dreams of mine, and he is definitely my heart horse. We are so thankful, and excited to be apart of the amazing Undeniable Equine team again! MEET VANESSA! Vanessa is new to the team for 2021, I’ve sat on the sidelines watching many of these girls on our past and present team, learn and grow into incredible horsewomen over the years, and Vanessa is no exception! I’ve watched her grow (although I don’t know if she knows this ) for about 10+ years, when I heard about her from a close friend(Thanks Dani). Our paths crossed later in life when this sport brought us together. I am so excited to have her on our team ...this year, and can’t wait to see what else this talented woman accomplishes. My name is Vanessa Salisbury, I currently live in Claresholm, AB however, I grew up in Langley, BC. I grew up riding English and Western pleasure all my life then started getting into Barrel Racing and Rodeo in my early teens. I now focus on Futurity and Derby barrel horses but I am hoping to also get to some rodeos in the coming year as well on my now 8 year old gelding. I ride both my own and client horses, my favourite part of bringing a horse along is watching their confidence grow and watching them develop themselves into incredible athletes. Currently I have an 8 yr old Gelding sired by Judge Cash and I also have a 5 year old Gelding by Sympatico Red (On the money red) and out of an own daughter of Judge Cash. My Futurity horse this year is superstakes and I am really quite excited about him! I think it's so important for these horses to feel their best in order for them to work their best therefore, I am SO excited to be a part of the Undeniable Equine Services Team!
