Hey friends..the day has come! We are keeping things simple and as long as we all follow the rules and keep a safe social distance apart this should be smooth. At this time there is no sharing of equipment. This may mean you need to be a bit speedier than usual with your workout - but it is also up to member discretion & we can all do our part to assess the situation. If it is quiet and not overly busy you can take your sweet time but when we are at higher capacity please b...e respectful of your fellow members and get through your sets in a timely fashion so everyone has a chance to use what they would like to. We have staff on site to monitor our capacity and of course the screening upon arrival along with the amped up cleaning regime. If you have any questions or concerns at all please do not hesitate to ask staff OR send us a PM. We will be responding to questions promptly in the weeks to follow. Its ready! 79 days ago today we closed our doors. It would have been easy to feel defeated and allow this situation to bring us to our knees. Instead - we did the opposite. We are grateful to those who sympathized, who offered help, who watched children, and the members who wanted to still pay for a service they couldnt use - this is the risk of business we took 6 years ago and we owe it to you to come back better and stronger. We chose to lead by example and put our heads... down and put plans into action. Grateful for June 8th. Grateful for a community of members who persevere, empower and continue on because life will throw you that curve ball. We can hardly wait to get these doors back open on June 8th.... the best is yet to come!

The scheduled reopening date for Phase 3 was announced today! We will be back open on June 8th of course there will be new protocols and safety measures put into place which we will inform everyone of closer to the date! Guys, we feel you - we sympathize with you and we know this has been a long haul and that it has effected your mental and physical wellbeing. For many the gym is such an important piece of a large puzzle. Life will throw you curve balls, and sometimes it doesnt always go as planned - but we are MAKING it WORK because thats what we always do! Get out there, put in the work. As per usual, we can not pick just 1 winner! Caylyn lost a total of 7 lbs, but completely changed her overall body composition during these 10 weeks! She was a distance participant so we didnt do a skin fold measurement. However these photos speak for themselves & she earned herself a 2nd place finish! The Winner of our 2020 New Year Challenge! Tori lost 11.8 Lbs and decreased her body fat by 7 %! The judging was based on those totals + the photos for comparison! We always have MANY amazing transformations which always makes this SO hard because everyone does such a great job! Huge Congrats to Tori for putting in some serious work these past 10 weeks hard work pays off!

Back Workout 1 10-15 Single Arm DB Rows 2 10-15 Bent Over DB Row 3 10-15 Bent Over Rear Delt Raise... 4 15 Sandball Slam 5 10-15 Rear Delt Fly (band) 6 10 Superman 7 20 Russian Twist 8 20 Bicycle This could easily be done with minimal equipment, the weights available to you will determine the rep range. Also major focus on controlled tempo, no rushing or speeding through your movements will intensify the workout. Sand ball slams can be exchanged for another higher cardio movement to keep the heart rate up. If your lucky enough to have cardio equipment at home jump on the bike or treadmill between for 3-5 Minute intervals!

Lower Body Home 1 8 Overhead DB Reverse Lunge 2 8 DB Reverse Lunge w/ Knee Raise 3 8 Box Squat... 4 6 Box Squat w/ box jump (optional squat at the top) 5 8 Side Step w/ knee raise 6 12 KB Deadlift This could easily be done without weight, double up the reps. Also major focus on controlled tempo, no rushing or speeding through your movements. I put this together with the band circuit posted yesterday for a full lower body workout. If you only have dumbbells swap the KB movement for DB and you if you dont have a step or plyo box a bench will work. Get creative!

Minimal Equipment. You can modify the KB movement for a DB, and if you dont have a slamball, practice the movement sans weight or add in a jump squat! Well folks, with the increased risk of COVID-19 we want to advise everyone of how uncleanly a gym facility is. Regardless of how often it is cleaned there is always a new set of hands in the cookie jar! If we all do our job to use the disinfectant spray on every piece of equipment we use & work together to keep the gym as clean as possible we will continue to keep our doors open. The Challenge 2020! The challenge will run the same as our previous challenge. 10 weeks with weekly email check in and bi weekly in person photo/ measurement update with adjustment (as needed!) This challenge can be done fully online from ANY location - so no you do not need to be a member of Underground to complete it, you can be a member of any gym near or far. Our 3rd place and final winner is Brett! Brett lost a total of 10.4 lbs, while developing some new muscle mass and tightening up his current physique! Brett is an out of town participant and so we didnt track his B.f but the results speak for themselves! Like many challengers He just wanted to develop some bettered nutrition habits and get going on a solid workout routine after summer! Our Second place winner was Chantel! Chantel is a busy mom of 3 kids 5 & under! She entered this challenge post baby so we worked on not only weight and body composition changes but making sure we maintained energy and milk supply for the first portion of this challenge! Chantel lost a Crazy 25 lbs reduced her B.F by 3.9 % and 17 inches! The best part of This transformation is beyond measurement - seeing the change in confidence in the gym is the BEST part of this! Winner winner! First place for our 10 week challenge is Cam! Cam dropped a crazy 5.1 % B.f reduced her start weight by 14 lbs and lost a total of 15 inches in just 10 Weeks! She started this journey to look and feel her best walking down the isle in the New Year and she did just that! Bringing her original dress measurement of 12 down to a 6! We are so proud of Cam and absolutely blown away by the results! She is an absolute testament of what hard work and perseverance can achieve! Congratulations Cam!

10 week Challenge is coming to an end on November 30! I just wanted to drop some information to avoid sending mass emails. Challengers: If you did all your start measurements/ photos at home you can submit your end photo on Dec 1 - that is the last day I will accept them, you can be submitting as early as Thursday as some people I know are away over the weekend. If I did your start photos/ measurements I will arrange times on Friday & Saturday for those who need - please email, DM or text me. I have seen SO many amazing things happen for people in the last 10 weeks - the most significant is the drive and atmosphere it created for us here, at home @undergroundfitt - I am already looking forward to seeing all the comparison photos and giving away some $$$ !
