Market Greens is a year round, community based, produce market ...with a difference. Their purpose is to make it easy for people to eat healthy and to be healthy, and they do this by offering both affordable prices and information. They are located at the Fredericton Public Library every Wednesday from 2-6pm where you will find affordable fresh fruits and vegetables, including locally grown and produced items, along with information on healthy eating and preparing healthy meals. : Every year we work hard to make the holiday season as special for our guests as we can. This year has been especially hard ...so we want to make it special! Because of extreme space limitations and Covid-19 protocols, the Fredericton Community Kitchens has been serving take-out style since the beginning of the pandemic. This system worked well during the summer, but ! This month we partnered with the to provide a warm, inviting place for our guests to enjoy their meals out of the elements and surrounded by support. ' ! Take a look at our ask list below and pick up a few items for your neighbors in need!! Donations can be dropped off at the Fredericton Community Kitchens at any day between 8:30-11 a.m. or 1-4 p.m. OR to the Phoenix Learning Centre at Monday through Friday 11:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m.

Kitchen volunteers needed at Greener Village! They need help dicing and prepping a large shipment of green peppers they just received on either Wednesday or Thursday between 9am and 3pm. Email Chef Yves at [email protected] to sign up.

Under One Sky received some sunchokes/ Jerusalem artichokes from Hayes Urban Teaching Farm and still have some left. If you would like some, they are available to pick up at the center today until 4pm. Just give us a call at 458-9269 and let us know when you plan on stopping by so we can have them bagged and ready to go for a contactless pick up. Woliwon!
