Stopped in at Ottawa Food Bank to drop off a donation today. Our members feel lucky that we've all remained employed through the pandemic and want to make sure we help out where we can. In addition, with a motion made by the membership at the last general meeting, the Local is also donating $2500 to support health care workers in Local 8300, $1250 to Toy Mountain and $1250 to the Ottawa Snowsuit Fund.

As a sign of appreciation from one group of Frontline workers to another, we donated 50 x $50 giftcards for Metro/Foodbasics to Unifor Local 8300 members who work in Long Term Care homes in Ottawa.
