We are pleased to announce that Unikkaarvik has reopened. At this time we will not be hosting regular programming. We will have a capacity limit of 5 people at a time. In conjunction with the Iqaluit Centennial Library we will only open in the afternoons, Monday through Friday 1-5pm. We know that there won't be many visitors this year but we are happy to offer visitor services to all residents of our beautiful territory. If you are planning to travel within the territory and ...would like to find out about different experiences, locations and outfitters - please drop in. Families in small groups are welcome, as always, to view the exhibits. If you are not in Nunavut and require travel information and updates, please call us at: Toll Free: 1-866-NUNAVUT (686-2888) Local: 1-867-979-4636

The Visitor Centre hasn't reopened yet, we've been busy getting ready for the annual #Iqaluit Community Clean Up happening tomorrow! Please come by Unikkaarvik (building 220) at 9am or anytime between 9-4 pm to get your clean up supplies and ballots for the draw. There will be a draw at a later date for two awesome prize packs, one from the City of Iqaluit and one from WWF Arctic. Thanks for helping to keep our community beautiful!
