So as many of you know I've been in Guyana these past few months building some crazy GTRs. After I left on Saturday Terrance and Wayne took over getting the Motec systems setup and tuned. This is the results of there dyno session yesterday. Quite amazing how easy it really is to make this kind of power on these platforms. Hopefully the rain holds off today for some testing. Our k-series Elite oil pan is now available to the public !! Throughout the past year we have worked very hard building and developing the ultimate k-series oil pan. This piece has been tested in the most extreme conditions on one of the fastest fwd time attack cars on the planet, James houghtons time attack type r ! James had suffered a major engine failure at last year's GTA SLB due to oil starvation and with that being the final event of the year we knew we had to come u...p with a solution so this wouldn't happen again. The pan was first installed on James car prior to GTA road Atlanta and ran all season competing in over 13 events across North America. Collecting data from every event. We knew we had hit the nail on the head. Oil pressure was no longer a problem. Even when it was subjected to over 2 lateral gs and spikes of over 3gs. The pan consist of a machined 6061 billet flange with formed sheet aluminum meticulously Tig welded together. 6 seperate compartments and 11 trap doors help control the 9 liter oil capacity. As seen in the pictures We have done our best to accomodate the dc5/ep3 and 8th Gen chassis. Which is completely ignored by all other pans on the market. Although there will be modifications still needed to fit these chassis we did keep you in mind. So if your looking for the ultimate oil pan for your k-series engine this is it !
