Did you know: October 17th is recognized as #internationaleradicationofpovertyday. United Way of Colchester is proud to play an active role in addressing the symptoms of poverty, and attempting to push systems forward to a community without poverty. From Poverty to Possibility is an actionable plan that factors into what we support and how.
Community organizations serving vulnerable populations are encouraged to apply for funding to support their work through the second round of the Emergency Community Support Fund. The #ECSFund is administered in collaboration with United Way Centraide Canada and The Government of Canada. Funding from the program will support community organizations to adapt frontline services to better meet the needs of vulnerable people during the COVID-19 pandemic, ensuring that no one is left behind. If you would like more information, or an application- please email Sarah Flemming at- [email protected] or call 902-895-9313.
