United Velo riders will be supporting the Cloverdale Community Kitchen this Saturday with a 'Pop-up' Fondo for the Food Bank. Details for the 'Pop-up' Fondo for the Food Bank Date: Saturday October 3rd, 2020... Meeting location: Cloverdale Community Kitchen, 5337 180th St, Surrey, BC Registration opens at 9am Start time for the Ride: 9:35am Choose from one of these 3 routes: Short 26km https://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/2591777083 Medium 55km https://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/2591773051 Long 87km - https://www.mapmyride.com/routes/view/3452559046 87km Route will have 3 groups: A Group - 36km+ average speed on flats B Group - 30-35km average speed on flats C Group - 28-32km average speed on flats Slower riders can ride the 87km individually or in small groups by demand. 55km Route will have 3 groups: C Group - 28-32km average speed on flats D Group - 23-28km average speed on flats Faster or Slower riders can ride the 55km route individually or in a small group by demand. 26km Route will be by demand and/or small groups of riders. Covid Safety 1. Riding groups are limited to 25 people. 2. Total event attendance will be limited and physical distancing will be required. 3. If you are sick or have been out of the country in the last 14 days, please do NOT attend. 4. Riders names and contact information will be recorded in each group for contact tracing. 5. Entrance to building will be limited to only bathroom needs and Face Masks are mandatory in the building. 6. Please register online to limit contact with paper and pens. 7. When checking in and interacting in the parking lot please wear a Mask. 8. Please maintain 6 feet from others in the parking lot and when not riding. 9. When riding marks are NOT required. 10. Bottled Water, drinks, and granola bars will be provided at the beginning of the ride in Covid safe manner. Please wash or sanitize before eating. 11. The ride is self supported and no food service will be offered after the ride. 12. Following the ride please maintain physical distancing in the parking lot. For Covid tracking and help with groups sizes please register online to one of these groups. Groups = Teams in Ride for Refuge lingo.
