As part of its COVID-19 response, the Government of Canada has funded a nationwide expansion of the 211 service. 211 is a three-digit phone number that can be dialed anywhere in Canada to connect with a live Service Navigator who will listen and identify nearby government and community supports to help with life’s challenges. The service is free, confidential, and available 24 hours a day, in more than 150 languages. This resource will help countless Canadians from coast to... coast to coast get the help they need while we deal with the impacts of COVID-19. Prime Minister Justin Trudeau Help starts with 211. Please share with someone who is struggling in any way. Help us to connect people in need with the resources they need. #Helpstartshere #northernBC #COVID19BC #untiedwaynbc

Here is a fantastic way to support this year's United Way Tree of Lights holiday campaign! Effective immediately, 100% of the PG Recycling & Return-It Centre's charity bin revenue is going directly to our annual holiday campaign! By donating your empty cans and bottles, you will be directly supporting this amazing annual Christmas fundraising tradition in Prince George.... The charity bins are located at 2614 Peterson Road (by Costco), as well as the YMCA of Northern BC, The Exploration Place, and SIGNPATICO (5th Ave) parking lots. #locallove #uwtol #CityofPG #unitedwaynbc #holidays2020

Diwali is an occasion to let the light of diyas and candles illuminate your home - and life. Diwali symbolizes the spiritual "victory of light over darkness, good over evil, and knowledge over ignorance." Happy Diwali everyone! #northernbc #celebrations
