#WorldHomelessDay There is less than a 3% vacancy rate in Oxford County. It is crucial that supports are put in place to help people who are homeless or at risk of being homeless. We are committed to ending homelessness in our community.

A message from our Executive Director - Kelly Gilson As Thanksgiving fast approaches there is much to be grateful for. At United Way, we are thankful for the individual and corporate donors who have already responded to our request for financial contributions, the many workplaces that are committed to finding creative new ways in which to run payroll campaigns and to the employees who sign up to give so generously week after week to help others. Additionally, we are ...thankful for our partner agencies who work tirelessly to provide vital services to individuals and families across Oxford County. Thanksgiving will look a little different this year. Many of us will miss spending it with extended family and friends; others will find themselves in in a position where they will need assistance or support. Little acts of kindness will make a big difference, especially to those that are lonely, isolated, anxious or vulnerable. Consider delivering a meal (or a delicious pie!), making a phone or video call, or enjoying a socially-distanced walk along one of our beautiful trails. Please also consider making a personal contribution to United Way Oxford to help ensure that we will have the resources necessary to meet community needs and positively impact lives. Thank you for believing in our efforts and for lending your support. We truly are grateful! Wishing you and your loved ones a happy, healthy Thanksgiving.

How could we possibly begin to say thank you!? With so many people coming out to support the #SmileCookie event, and the hundreds of Tim Horton's team members across Woodstock and Ingersoll that were the heart behind this incredible fundraiser, it's tough to share exactly how much this means to us. So please know how grateful we are for everyone that supported this year. This donation is going to make such a difference in the lives of people who need extra support now and in... the months ahead. So from everyone at United Way, and from all of our community partners that offer services of support, thank you! You are changing the lives of local people, and there's nothing more incredible than that! #LocalLove #LoveCommunity #StrongerTogether
