The Daily Word for Nov 24, 2020 Today's Word: Patience I AM PATIENT AND CALM IN THE COMFORT OF GOD’S PRESENCE.... Patience may seem elusive to me at times, especially during hectic moments at work or at home or when I feel as if there are not enough hours in the day to do what I need to do. I may feel anxious and stretched too thin. I help myself by taking a deep breath and saying silently or aloud, Peace fills my soul. Peace truly does fill my soul, because I am one with the peaceful presence of God. Peace is my true reality, regardless of appearances. I remind myself of this truth throughout the day, pausing for a moment to rest in the presence of God. As I do, I am calm, knowing that the stressful situations I face are temporary moments that will pass. Patience becomes easier as I remember I am not alone. I worry less and relax more as I remain steadfast, patient, and at peace.

The Daily Word for Nov 23, 2020 Today's Word: Friendship I AM GRATEFUL TO HAVE FRIENDS AND TO BE A FRIEND.... Friends are treasures. They are the family we choosea diverse group not related by blood but by a feeling of belonging. I am grateful for my friends, whom I can count on in good times and challenging times. Even when my friends and I are not in the same place, we are always connected in spirit. My friends are always ready to share a laugh or a tender moment and to lend emotional support when I need it. I give the same support and encouragement. I reach out to help when my friend is in need. I am the voice of reason and the person to lean on. I am present in times of joy, frustration, or sorrow. When my friend shares a concern, I listen with empathy and respond with honesty and compassion.

The Daily Word for Nov 22, 2020 Today's Word: Forgive IN THE PEACE OF PRAYER, I RELEASE ALL UNFORGIVENESS.... If I hold on to feelings of hurt, betrayal, or anger in response to another person’s words or actions, I block the flow of divine love and peace in my life. Likewise, holding on to guilt, shame, or embarrassment that may arise when I have hurt another person also keeps me from experiencing divine love and peace. Forgiveness removes all barriers, all obstacles, anything that may be disrupting my experience of the divine presence. In order to forgive myself or another person, I need not justify or approve behavior that is unwelcome. I need only to become willing to forgive. In the peace of prayer, I release all unforgiveness. I feel the healing power of divine love as it dissolves all barriers, all illusion of separation. I forgive, and I am healed.

The Daily Word for Nov 4, 2020 Today's Word: Hope I AM HOPEFUL AND POSITIVE.... I begin this day with gratitude. Before I get out of bed, I give thanks. I fill my mind and heart with hope for the coming day and for my future. Making a habit of practicing gratitude upon awakening helps me create positivity and hope. Even in the most dire circumstances, I resolve to be hopeful. I look beyond outer circumstances and trust indwelling Spirit to inspire me to find good in the midst of all situations. I give myself plentiful reminders that I have reasons for hope. I can make lists of all that I have now as well as things I hope for in the future. Maybe I can enjoy walks outdoors or time spent with optimistic friends. There are always reasons to be hopeful when I stay focused on gratitude.

The Daily Word for Nov 3, 2020 Today's Word: Engage I AM DEEPLY ENGAGED IN LIFE.... I can learn so much from my interactions with others. I encounter a wide range of viewpoints, personalities, and talents as I go about my day. My real growth happens when I fully engage with my surroundings. I am not a passive observer of the world around me. I may learn new things by taking a class, practicing a new language, traveling to an unfamiliar locale, or volunteering in my church or community. Fresh experiences show me undiscovered parts of myself. Just as my outer world expands as I engage with others, so, too, does my inner world expand. I deepen my understanding, share my love, and awaken my compassion and empathy for all with whom I engage

When I embark upon something new and challenging, I quiet my mind as I go within and tap into the power of my inherent wisdom. As I reach beyond my intellectual knowledge and my life experience, I focus on my wisdom to discern the best course of action to take. As new opportunities arise before me, I can use them to lead me to a greater expression of myself. I use my power of wisdom to judge which opportunities will best expand my horizons and help me grow into a fuller expression of myself. With confidence and patience, I relax into the knowledge that my wisdom will lead me to answers, understanding, and clarity about my path forward.

Just as I can don a mask and try on a new persona, I can remake my self-image as my soul evolves. I use this spiritual gift to expand my world as I put my gifts and talents to use. My imagination frees me and carries me high above all worldly limitations. I use it to shape my life according to the imaginings of my inner vision.
