Yesterday we received a call from a sweet elderly lady who had one of our competitors out to look at her furnace. They advised her that parts weren’t readily available and she should replace the whole unit at a cost of over $9k. Now living on a retirees budget there is no way she could possible afford to replace the whole unit. One of our technicians was on site for roughly 15 minutes and had the issue diagnosed and parts ordered. She was up and running for less than 10% of what she was quoted by someone else. You may not want to give us your business but please always get more than one opinion and quote before spending money you don’t need to spend. How often to you inspect your dryer vent or have it cleaned? We recently found this in a customers basement. This obviously took many years to end up in this condition, but could have been prevented by regular cleaning of the vent pipe. This will increase the life span of the pipe as well as prevent the fire hazard caused by the build up of lint.
