(Shout out to my pal and Great Escapist Joe Amodei.) An Unmarried Woman: For the simple reason that Paul Mazursky never got a victory lap and this film is why he should have. It not only delivered Jill Clayburgh to stardom but painted a view of a dissolved marriage that still holds up today.
